I have never been an inpatient but my husband has and he has never had a problem with the hospital or staff.

I was in Kingston for a small procedure in the day surgery unit that I was very nervous about. From what I could see of hospital it was very clean.
All the staff were friendly and polite from the surgery team to the nursing staff to the chaps with the tea-trolley.
I felt cared for and had full confidence in the staff.

I found the reception staff unattentive and more interested in their social life than tending to patients.

Was very surprised at the poor cleaning. I had to ask the cleaner to come in to our room to clean. No high level damp dusting done. Mop heads appeared dirty.
The patient food was poor. Looked unappetising and very bland in taste. It was not suitable for children. Vegetables were over cooked potatoes soggy.
I was very impressed with the nursing and medical staff on sunshine ward.

Clean , friendly waiting rooms
